Our Projects
We have highlighted several key projects from our portfolio. For a comprehensive list of our projects and references, please feel free to contact us.
Hard Rock Cafe, Yerevan, Armenia
As a subcontractor for AES Systems LLC, ONIO Interactive served as the lead consultant and AV programmer for the Hard Rock Cafe project in Yerevan. We focused extensively on programming and integrating Crestron equipment, including NVX, NAX, Avia DSP, AirMedia, and system control via keypads, iPads, and a tabletop touch panel.
Our work involved complete audio and video routing, integrating Dante audio networking to connect the external mixer with our internal DSP, and ensuring seamless signal processing and distribution. We also configured and calibrated an L’Acoustic sound system for optimal performance, and integrated various Philips and Bose devices. The system was designed for ease of use, with intuitive control interfaces available on keypads, iPads, and a tabletop touch panel, allowing staff to manage the AV system efficiently. This comprehensive approach ensured a high-quality audio and video experience for Hard Rock Cafe’s patrons.
Crestron Home Drivers, Rhombus Europe, Bulgaria
ONIO Interactive developed Crestron Home drivers for the entire Rhombus DIN series, ensuring native compatibility with OS 4 and Lights scenes, as well as other advanced features.
Our team wrote the code in C#, focusing on reliability and performance. The whole series supports extensive capabilities, including robust network connectivity, multiple relay outputs for controlling electrical devices, comprehensive serial communication options, light dimmers, numerous digital inputs and outputs for sensor integration, temperature sensor inputs for precise environmental monitoring, and analog and PWM outputs for fine control of lighting, HVAC, and other systems.
By leveraging the capabilities of Crestron Home OS 4, we delivered a solution that simplifies the integration process for Rhombus devices and provides a robust and user-friendly experience for end-users.
Most of the drivers are available for free, with the exception of the AHR series, which requires a license. These licenses can be purchased from our web store.
The Shore Club, Turks and Caicos Islands
The Shore Club, located in the picturesque Turks and Caicos Islands, is a premier luxury resort renowned for its exquisite amenities and breathtaking views. As AV consultants and lead AV programmers on this prestigious project, we engineered a state-of-the-art Crestron control system tailored for the resort’s versatile conference facilities with partitioned halls.
Our team developed intuitive GUIs for touch panels and iPads, ensuring seamless user interaction. Additionally, we programmed the BSS Blu DSP for optimal audio management, enabling precise routing and control of audio and video signals, as well as the automated raising and lowering of projectors and screens. To provide comprehensive documentation, we produced detailed as-built 2D CAD drawings with the flow diagram, encapsulating the technical intricacies of the installation.
Software Application, Marina Pirovac, Croatia
For the client Marina Pirovac, we developed a customized internal web application system tailored to meet their specific needs. Using Node.js and React.js, we built a functional and user-friendly application for seamless internal operations.
We created most of the UI components ourselves to ensure they perfectly matched the client’s requirements. The system also supports real-time configuration via tablets and integrates AV components for enhanced capabilities.
Dulles Airport, Washington DC, USA
We worked on the Washington D.C. Dulles Airport project as AV programmers, focusing on several gates within the airport. Our task involved the complete implementation of BIAMP equipment for sound management, which included systems for microphone control and the prioritization of voice messages from the alarm system or microphone announcements.
This involved programming advanced audio solutions to ensure clear and prioritized communication within these designated areas, demonstrating our expertise in handling complex AV integrations in critical environments.
The Strand, Turks and Caicos Islands
The Strand is an exclusive residential community known for its luxury and elegance. We provided AV consulting and programming services for this prestigious development.
Our work involved integrating and programming various AV devices, including Kramer for signal management, LG for display solutions, and Sonos for audio systems. Additionally, we implemented IR-Trans for infrared control over TCP, ensuring seamless and sophisticated control of all AV equipment.
John Hopking University, Baltimore, USA
We contributed to the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) project in Baltimore, a prestigious institution renowned for its research and academic excellence. In one of their departments, we undertook Crestron programming to enhance their AV infrastructure.
Our work primarily focused on video distribution and the comprehensive control of all AV devices, ensuring seamless integration and user-friendly operation. This project underscores our proficiency in delivering advanced AV solutions in academic environments.
Riznica Međimurja, Čakovec, Croatia
We undertook the complete AV technical engineering and AV design for the Riznica Međimurja, the Museum of Intangible Heritage in Čakovec, Croatia. We participated in the conceptual development, and later created detailed AV documentation, performed AV calculations, determined equipment positions, designed flow diagrams, and produced rack elevations.
Our meticulous work contributed to the museum receiving several prestigious awards, including the “Zlatni pin” awarded by Google in the “Castles and Palaces” category. Additionally, the museum won the award for the best permanent exhibition in Croatia in 2021 and was a finalist in the European Museum of the Year Award (EMYA).
